our team
Our unit could not run without a dedicated group of parents. Every leader in this pack started exactly where you are - looking for something fun to do with their child(ren).
We do this because its fun and we enjoy seeing the scouts grow.

Volunteering

How can I become an adult volunteer in Cub Scouting?

Express your interest to the pack leaders—the committee chair, Cubmaster, chartered organization representative, or members of the unit committee. There is always some way in which you can contribute. We are glad for any offer of help. There are many single-instance volunteer opportunities such as popcorn chair, pinewood derby chair, or just offering to help out with food.

To begin you will need to take Safeguarding Youth Training (formerly YPT) and ALL mandatory training for the position you are interested in. Once this is complete, you will need to complete an adult application and pay the $99 annual membership fee. Approval to assume a position cannot be given until proof of training is complete.

How can I help right now without becoming a volunteer?

Take Safeguarding Youth Training (formerly YPT) . Every leader must have this training and its necessary when adults are with scouts. You can take this training my creating a profile on my.scouting.org and visit the Scouting University tab for online training.
