Den/Pack Meetings
​
Den meetings are where Scouts build friendships, work together to learn new things, and progress towards earning their common badge of rank.
​
Pack meetings are where the entire unit comes together to celebrate their accomplishments, play games, and hold special activities
​
Den meetings take place during the first meetings of the month. Pack meeting is always the last Monday of each month.

1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays during school year

August Campout
Troop 711, Troop 700, and Crew 501 have invited currently registered families to attend their upstate campout in August. ​​
​
Pack members can expect waterfall hikes and meeting with the charter units at Sliding Rock (admission $5 per person)
​
Cost per person: <$20 per person not including food costs.
​When?
Friday Aug. 1 to Sunday Aug. 3
​

Western North Carolina / Upstate South Carolina
Beach Sweep
This is a Pack service project with optional campout.
​
Camping:
Those wanting to camp will be able to at Camp Moultrie Friday evening with possibility to camp through Sunday depending on how pack leadership's ability to have sufficient coverage both nights.
​
Service project:
The service project takes place Saturday morning. Please arrive by 9AM at Overton Park next to Camp Moultrie to meet with the pack to learn about our cleanup assignment. There is the possibility the unit will have to drive up to 30 minutes to the site location.
​
Lunch will be provided at Overton Park along with some cub themed activities. Those who do not camp cannot be at or park at Camp Moultrie.

Cub Family Weekend
This is a Council sponsored camping weekend​
​
Check in Friday 5:30-7pm at Ecology Lodge. Depart by 10am Sunday
​
Cost: $45 includes Sat. breakfast, lunch & dinner and breakfast Sunday, patch, craft and program supplies.
​
Please eat before arriving on Friday night.
​
Coastal Carolina Council's Cub families will get to forge memories through activities like canoeing, archery, BB's, slingshot, crafts, and games. Saturday evening will close with a campfire program.

Lion/Tiger Safari
This is a District sponsored day event​

Cost: $20 per scout

This is designed to create a more meaningful Scouting experience for our younger Scouts. We want your youth to have a good time and enjoy the fellowship of other Scouts in the spirit of friendship and goodwill.
Morning Activities: Flag Etiquette, Slingshots, STEM/Square Knot, Fire Building/Den Time
Afternoon Activities: Tiger Station, Lion Station, Teambuilding, Gaga Ball/Den Time, Flag Retirement Ceremony

Cub Haunted
A Pack tradition!

This is our Council's annual one night campout sponsored by our Order of the Arrow Lodge.
​
This is fun for the whole family.
​
Pack recommends trying to camp during the 2nd night (Saturday session) instead of the first night session (Friday night)
​
Cost per scout/family member: $30
includes patch, dinner, snack, and breakfast

Swamp Fox Webeloree
For Webelos and Arrow of Light dens only
This is a two night weekend campout with area troops and other older cub scouts.
​
Please make sure you know if this will be a den activity before registering in MyCamp to determine logistics and food.
​
Food is not provided at this campout by organizaers. This is the responsibility of the dens or individual scout/parent pairs.
​
Cost: $25 per scout / $20 per adult

Christmas Party​
Our annual Pack Christmas Party is a highlight of the year.
​
Expect other activities at the December den meeting and the November pack meeting to get everyone into the Holiday spirit.
​
More information will be posted as we get closer to the festivities.
