Ready for
Adventure

Welcome to Pack 700. We are a Cub Scout Pack chartered to Dorchester Presbyterian Church in Summerville, SC.
Pack 700 is a Coed unit accepting both boys and girls from kindergarten to 5th grade.

We meet on the first, third, and fifth Mondays of each Month @ 6:30 PM at Dorchester Presbyterian Church located at 10290 Dorchester Road in Summerville.

Our goal is to provide an active outdoor family-centered experience that focuses on empowering our youth to become the best they can be through getting back to the fundamentals of outdoorsmanship and conservation. We provide leadership, camping, hiking, fishing, and community service opportunities to help parents instill in their children responsibility and confidence to be leaders in their homes and communities. Our unit has some of the most active service oriented scouts in the area!

Pack 700 is currently growing girl membership in our pack ! We are excited to see them grow on their Cub Scout trail. They will have the added benefit of being able to have older girls in Scouts BSA directly help them at meetings and activities. These young women are looking to encourage them to strive to become an Eagle.

NEWS
Congratulations!!!
We want to congratulate a former scout from Pack 700 on reaching the rank of Eagle! Congratulations Patrick. Thank you for everything you have done for scouting in our area especially with helping our cubs at Day Camp.

Staying updated

We understand its hard to keep updated with all of the useful tools we have at our fingertips.

In order to streamline our leader's ability to communicate, the Pack is going to revert back to using it's Facebook group page as its primary means of quick communication outside of emails from Scoutbook.

The unit intends to deactivate the SLACK account and only use Scoutbook email/calendar reminders, this website, and Facebook.

Popcorn season approaches

Popcorn sales at stores begins the last weekend of August. As with last year, those who sell are able to greatly reduce the cost of scouting on their families. There will be interest surveys coming out this summer to gauge interest so our popcorn leaders can determine how many sale locations we will need. This is vitally important in making sure we have enough to sell while not over extending ourselves to have product leftover.
If you'd like a leader to contact you about your child joining our pack or you have a question about our pack, please complete the information below and include your child(ren's) age, year in school, and school they are attending to help us give you better information on our pack.

We look forward to hearing from you!
