Ready for
Adventure
Welcome to Pack 700. We are a Cub Scout Pack chartered to Dorchester Presbyterian Church in Summerville, SC.
Pack 700 is a Coed unit accepting both boys and girls from kindergarten to 5th grade.

We meet on the first, third, and fifth Mondays of each Month @ 6:30 PM at Dorchester Presbyterian Church located at 10290 Dorchester Road in Summerville.

Our goal is to provide an active outdoor family-centered experience that focuses on empowering our youth to become the best they can be through getting back to the fundamentals of outdoorsmanship and conservation. We provide leadership, camping, hiking, fishing, and community service opportunities to help parents instill in their children responsibility and confidence to be leaders in their homes and communities. Our unit has some of the most active service oriented scouts in the area!

Pack 700 is currently growing girl membership in our pack ! We are excited to see them grow on their Cub Scout trail. They will have the added benefit of being able to have older girls in Scouts BSA directly help them at meetings and activities. These young women are looking to encourage them to strive to become an Eagle.

Summer in Review
Pack 700 was very busy this summer. It started with a fun hike along the Palmetto Trail.
Over half of the pack attended either Camp Swampy Day Camp or Cub Resident Camp at Ho Non Wah. Scouts learned about outdoor skills, played games, and shot BBs and archery at Camp Swampy.
Our resident camp participants camped along the Bohicket River and learned about conservation and outdoor skills while hiking, kayaking, shooting BB guns and archery as well as taking part in a powwow ! These scouts were led by older scouts in troops or crews.
